See Copenhagen in 16 hours & 19 miles on foot
Copenhagen is a wonderful place to visit on foot or by bike. I did a self-guided walking tour so that I could meander through the city at my own pace and enjoy the nooks and crannies of the cobblestone streets. The first day I walked 6.6 miles and the second day I walked 12.5 miles to see as much as possible of this magical city.
Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and the most populous city with approximately 777,000 residents. It began as a Viking fishing village in the 10th Century. Copenhagen is situated on an Island called Zealand separate from the mainland of Denmark. It is one of the World's most expensive cities to reside, but is ranked high among surveys for its quality of life.

Green, Clean and Safe
1. The City of Helsinki is green, clean, quiet and safe. The landscaping is beautifully maintained, but not overly manicured.

How do you get to Channel Islands National Park?
The Channel Islands National Park is a wonderful day trip from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara or anywhere within a 2 hour drive. Ventura and Oxnard California offer harbors with Ferry services operated by Island Packers. Island Packers is the contracted ferry service for visitors to the protected islands of the Channel Islands National Park.
We incorporated a trip to visit Channel Islands National Park after a weekend visit to Ojai, California. It worked out well for us, as we were able to tour the charming town of Ojai and then book our trip over to the Channel Islands on a Monday. Ojai is 25 minutes away from the Ventura harbor where we caught the ferry.

Will I travel through Italy again for 3 weeks sampling regional delicacies?
Assolutamente! Although...I did have some thoughts and concerns about gaining weight prior to embarking on this adventure to Italy. How was I going to avoid putting on weight eating focaccia and drinking limoncello!? I have been pretty disciplined my entire life about eating and exercise. How was I going to manage visiting a country which has a saying in Italian;
"Mangia bene, ridi spesso, ama molto" “Eat well, laugh often, love much,” Which in my opinion, defines the amazing Italian way of life.
